Stickers on my laptop
posted on:
I love stickers. I have way too many of them and I always get more. Some ended up on my laptop.
As you may or may not have deduced by now, I am a huge Trekkie. So of course there are Star Trek stickers:
- a transparent Vulcan salute 🖖 from Fran Christy (no longer available it seems)
- a huge ass IDIC, that I wished was smaller, so I may take it off at one point, which would make more room for more stickers
- the USS Discovery, which I've got as a gift from a kind online friend. I don't remember the name of the store she got if from.
- and Moopsy innocently rolling around by byisabelau
Then there are some sweary ones:
- FCK NZS, but it's rainbow holo (Shop is currently on break, will try and remember to update the link.)
- a cute fuck off butterfly I got from a friend
- one I made myself saying Bumsbude, which literally translates to something like shag shack. The word is used as a cute but not so cute insult for your work place. I have some stickers left over, so if you want one, just send me an e-mail with your postal address. (While supplies last.)
The others are:
- a mushroom playing e-bass/guitar, holographic, by Sylvia Ritter
- There is hope by Chris Campe (does not seem to be available anymore)
- Bitty, the 32-bit Cafe mascot. (I haven't been in the forum for a long time, though.)
There's room for more. I'd love to put some fountain pen or postcard or journaling stickers on. Shockingly, I also lack a LGBTQIA+ sticker! I have to find a good one for that.
My stickers don't overlap. I like how that looks elsewhere, especially when a surface is completely covered in stickers. But I can never get myself to do it. I don't want to hide even the littlest bit of any sticker. Am I weird? Do you overlap your stickers, on your laptop or elsewhere?
I have always wanted to make an image map for my laptop stickers. This is not it, obviously. But Joel showed off his laptop stickers and I wanted to finally do the same. But this is not the replacement for the image map. I still want to do that one.
- Elena.
